Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a shield-shaped embroidered item arched at top and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Blue border, blazoned as follows:  "Celeste, a bear's head caboshed Or, armed Proper, edged and garnished Azure."  Between the inscriptions "CENTRAL HARDIN" above and "BRUINS" below in White letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 3 inches (7.62 cm) in width.

Symbolism
 Gold, light blue and navy blue are the school colors.  The two blues represent the two schools coming together as one and the loyalty that it brings.  White represents perfection; something the cadets seek to achieve in everything they do.  Gold represents honor a virtue the cadets fiercely maintain. The bruin is the school's mascot and represents strength and courage.  The students identify with their mascot in their pursuit of academic as well as athletic achievements.

Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  "Per pale Azure and Celeste, a bear's head caboshed Or, edged and garnished of the first."  Attached above the shield, a Blue scroll inscribed "CENTRAL HARDIN" in Gold letters.  Attached below the shield, a Blue scroll inscribed "BRUINS" in Gold letters
