Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a white rectangular shape embroidered item arched at top and bottom edged with a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) black border displaying a yellow tower castle detailed black between two yellow flaming torches on each side, within a green designation band edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border inscribed "HUGUENOT" above and "FALCONS" below all in white letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.

Symbolism
 The school's colors are green and gold.  Green signifies honor and gold is for nobleness, vigor and wisdom.  The mascot is the falcon and symbolizes courage, perseverance and the Cadet's fierce winning spirit.  The castle represents strength and vigilance while the torches allude to scholarly achievement.

Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in width overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  Vert, a Falcon preying Or.  Attached below the shield, a Black scroll inscribed "HUGUENOT" in base metal letters.

Symbolism
 Green and gold are the school colors and are traditionally representative of adaptability and honor.  The Falcon is the school's mascot and symbolizes the attributes of courage, vigilance, loyalty and perseverance and the cadets' fierce winning spirit.

 The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 8 April 2011.
