On a vertical divided silver gray and maroon rectangle arched convexly at the top and bottom and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border, a black panther lunging toward the viewer, detailed silver gray, with maroon tongue, teeth, whiskers and claws are white. Attached above the rectangle, a silver gray scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border inscribed "WESTWOOD" in black letters. Attached below the rectangle, a silver gray scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border inscribed "PANTHERS" in black letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in height and 2 3/8 inches (6.03 cm) in width.
The school's colors are maroon and Black. Maroon represents victory, as in the victory and honor of the cadets as leaders in the school and in the community. Black symbolizes consistency, as the consistency of the cadet's devotion and wisdom to succeed. The panther is the school's mascot and refers to bravery, courage, vigilance and the cadet's fierce winning spirit.
