On a green and white vertical rectangular shape arched convexly at top and bottom edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border divided quarterly displaying a black panther's head outlined in white with a narrow Black outline, details of silver gray, tongue, ears and nose. The teeth and whiskers are white. Attached above the rectangle, a green scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border inscribed "GARDENA" in white letters. Attached below the rectangle, a green scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border inscribed "HIGH SCHOOL" in white letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in height and 2 3/8 inches (6.03 cm) in width.
Kelly green, black and white are the school colors. Green signifies the honor that the cadets show for their school and country. Black signifies the determination to succeed in all endeavors. Silver (White) represents the courage to act responsibly and possess uncompromising integrity. The panther is the school's mascot and reflects the strength, courage and bravery of the cadets, their indomitable fighting spirit and their "never say die" attitude.
