Description/Blazon
On an orange disc with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter overall, a white eagle's head outlined and detailed blue below the inscription "CARSON-NEWMAN in blue letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm)

Symbolism
Orange and blue are the school's colors and the mascot is an eagle.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized 13 February 1975.  It was amended to change the symbols for better recognition for the school.  The new design and description and symbolism was authorizes on 29 October 1984.  




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height overall, consisting of the shield from the device and the motto of the organization.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 22 February 1974.
