Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a Silver Gray vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom and  edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Navy Blue border, blazoned as follows: Per bend sinister Azure and Argent (Silver Gray) a lightning bolt extending bendwise throughout Or. Attached above the rectangle, a Silver Gray scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Navy Blue border inscribed "RIDGE" in Navy Blue letters.  Attached below the rectangle, a Silver Gray scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Navy Blue border inscribed "COMMUNITY" in Navy Blue letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Navy blue and silver are the school colors. The navy blue is a representation of freedom, strength and new beginning, while silver is emblematic of focus, persistence and vision.  The lightning bolt is the school's mascot, which symbolize great power and speed. The students identify with the lightning bolt in their pursuit of academic and athletic excellence.

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  Azure, a cross diminished: in the first quarter an open book, in the second quarter a column couped, in the third quarter a dexter and sinister hand clasped and in the fourth quarter a winged foot of Hermes toe to dexter base all Argent, on each side of the shield an arched Yellow lightning bolt.  Attached above the shield, a Navy Blue scroll inscribed "RIDGE COMMUNITY" in Silver letters.  Attached below the shield, a Navy Blue scroll inscribed "BOLTS" in Silver letters.
