On a gold vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) green border, a green eagle in flight clutching a shield quartered green and gold. Attached above, a gold scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) green border inscribed "ENLOE" in green letters. Attached below, a gold scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) green border inscribed "EAGLES" in green letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.
Forest green and old gold are the school colors. The eagle is the school's mascot, which symbolizes to the student body the bold, undaunted spirit needed for any undertaking. Forest green represents the location of the school, Raleigh, North Carolina. Old gold denotes the honor of being a cadet in the Eagle Battalion.
