On a silver color metal and enameled device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in width overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Quarterly blue and red, in the first a harp, in the second an atomic symbol, in the third two hands grasping bendwise, in the fourth a graduation cap surmounting a scroll. Attached around the shield, a dark blue quad partite scroll bearing at top a silver star on each side and inscribe below "CREEK WOOD" on the left and "HIGH SCHOOL" on the right all in silver.
Red and blue are the school colors. Red is symbolic of the courage of cadets as leaders in the school and the community and blue signifies the determination to succeed in all endeavors. The harp is symbolic of humanities. The atomic symbol represents academics, math and science. The grasping hands signify unity and friendship. The cap and scroll are symbolic of scholarship. The stars at each end of the scroll represents Brigadier General, BG Noah Daniel, the JROTC Leadership Center was named after.
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 4 April 2012.
