Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
A blue disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border, the overall diameter 3 inches (7.62 cm) on which is centered a white arrowhead detailed red between two  light blue laurel leaves branches, encircled by the inscription "MONTGOMERY COUNTY" arched above and "INDIANS" arched below all in white letters.

Symbolism
Red, white, blue, light blue and gold are the school colors.  Blue signifies the loyalty that the cadets show for their school and country.  White represents the courage to act responsibly and possess uncompromising integrity.  Traditionally gold signifies the four virtues of nobleness, goodwill, vigor, and magnanimity while red symbolizes bravery and patriotism.  The American Indian is the school's mascot and reflects the strength, adaptability, courage and bravery of the cadets and the arrowhead pertains to readiness for battle. The laurel leaves are associated with victory.

Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a white disc bearing a red cross throughout divided evenly into four sections, in the first section a head of an American Indian wearing a feather headdress, in the second section a gold lamp with flame, in the third section a lyre and the fourth section a winged foot all gold within a circular red border.  Attached above the disc, a blue scroll inscribed "MONTGOMERY" in gold letters.  Attached below the disc, a blue scroll inscribed "COUNTY" in gold letters.
