Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On an Orange vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border, a red Zia Sun symbol surmounted by an orange tiger's head detailed black and white with white teeth facing forward.   Attached above the rectangle, a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border inscribed "HS HS" in black letters.  Attached below the rectangle, a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border inscribed "TIGERS" in black letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 3/8 inches (6.03 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Red is symbolic of the courage of cadets as leaders in the school and the community and black signifies the determination to succeed in all their endeavors.  White is symbolic of purity and truth and orange signifies pride and strength, which are the colors of the school's mascot, the tiger. The Tiger reflects the pride and honor of the cadet's military training.

Description/Blazon
On a silver color metal and enameled device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Argent fimbriated Azure, a Zia symbol Gules charged with a Tiger's head facing to sinister, erased at the neck, detailed  Red, White and Blue. Attached above the shield, a Gold scroll conjoined to the top and inscribed "HOT SPRINGS" in Red letters. Attached below the shield, a Gold scroll conjoined to the bottom and inscribed "TIGER PRIDE" in Blue letters.

Symbolism
