On a silver color metal and enameled device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Argent fimbriated Azure, a Zia symbol Gules charged with a Tiger's head facing to sinister, erased at the neck, detailed Red, White and Blue. Attached above the shield, a Gold scroll conjoined to the top and inscribed "HOT SPRINGS" in Red letters. Attached below the shield, a Gold scroll conjoined to the bottom and inscribed "TIGER PRIDE" in Blue letters.
Red is symbolic of the courage of cadets as leaders in the school and the community and White signifies the determination to succeed in all endeavors, Blue signifies pride and strength, they are the school colors. The Tiger is the school's mascot and reflects the pride, honor and loyalty of the cadet's military training.
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 9 March 2012.
