Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
 On a blue disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border, the overall diameter 3 1/2 inch (8.89 cm) displaying a white eagle detailed light blue, swooping down towards a white scroll inscribed "WAR EAGLES" in light blue letters, all above the inscription "JENKINS CO. HIGH SCHOOL" in white letters.

Symbolism
Carolina blue and white are the school colors.  Blue represents loyalty an attribute the cadets have for their country and each other.  White alludes to perfection a virtue the cadets seek to achieve in everything they do.  The "War Eagles" is the school's mascot and represents perseverance, fierceness, strength and swiftness.  The students identify with their mascot in their pursuit of academic as well as athletic achievements.

Description/Blazon
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height overall consisting of a silver eagle displayed, wings inverted surmounted by a shield blazoned:  "Between a cross fillet Azure, in the first hands conjoined, in the second an atom, in the third an open book surmounted by a quill pen per bend, in the fourth an axe bendwise sinister surmounted by a plow all Argent (Silver Gray)."  Attached below the shield two stacked scrolls, at the top inscribed "JENKINS COUNTY" and at the bottom inscribed "HIGH SCHOOL" in Silver letters.
