On a shield shaped embroidered item arched at top and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Purple border blazoned as follows: Argent, a jackrabbit courant contourn Purple, eyed of the first. Attached above the shield two arched scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Purple border inscribed "LONOKE H.S." at top and "JACKRABBIT" at bottom all in Purple letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/8 inches (7.94 cm) height and 1 7/8 inches (4.76 cm) width.
Purple and white are the school colors. The Jackrabbit is the school's mascot which signifying quickness and determination. Purple symbolizes the loyalty to the school, community and each other demonstrated by the students. White suggests maturity, an attribute that reflects in the consistent character and actions of the students.
