Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a shield shaped embroidered item arched at top and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Purple border blazoned as follows:  Argent, a jackrabbit courant contourn Purple, eyed of the first.  Attached above the shield two arched scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Purple border inscribed "LONOKE H.S." at top and "JACKRABBIT" at bottom all in Purple letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/8 inches (7.94 cm) height and 1 7/8 inches (4.76 cm) width.

Symbolism
Purple and white are the school colors. The Jackrabbit is the school's mascot which signifying quickness and determination. Purple symbolizes the loyalty to the school, community and each other demonstrated by the students. White suggests maturity, an attribute that reflects in the consistent character and actions of the students.

Description/Blazon
A silver metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a diamond shape displaying on a white background a single oak tree issuing from the land silhouetted purple.  Unrolling from beneath the sides and overlapping the point of the diamond is a purple scroll inscribed "LONOKE HIGH SCHOOL" in silver letters.

Symbolism
Purple and white are the school colors. Arkansas is the only diamond producing state which is the reason for the diamond gem shape. The single oak tree recalls the history and traditions of the county, town and school. Purple symbolizes the loyalty to the school, community and each other demonstrated by the students. White suggests maturity, an attribute that reflects in the consistent character and actions of the students.
