Description/Blazon
On a maroon disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border, the overall diameter 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm), a yellow bulldog's head affront couped.  Above the head the arced inscription "SCHURZ" and below the head the arced inscription "HIGH SCHOOL" in yellow letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 26 October 1970.
