Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
 On a white quadrilateral edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, arched at the top and convergent at base; two blue lightning flashes saltirewise below the arched inscription "HARRISBURG HIGH SCHOOL" and "BLUE STREAKS" in blue letters.

Symbolism
Blue and white are the school colors.  The school nickname, "The Blue Streaks," is represented by double lightning flashes.

 The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 30 April 1996.  (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-478)




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A silver color metal and emanal device 1 1/16 inch (2.70 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  Per pale Argent and Azure a lightning flash palewise Celeste.  Attached below the shield a Dark Blue scroll inscribed "BLUE STREAKS" in Silver letters.  

Symbolism
 Blue and white are the school colors.  The school nickname is "BLUE STREAKS" represented by a lightning flash of light blue.
