Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a shield divided diagonally from upper right to lower left, scarlet over black and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border, a white bulldog head with scarlet eyes and nose and collared with a scarlet collar with white spikes.  Attached above the shield, a black scroll with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border inscribed "WHITE HALL" in white letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 3/8 inches (8.56 cm) in height by 3 inches (7.62 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Red, black and white are the school colors.  The bulldog is the school's mascot.

Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A  Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (.2.86 cm) in height overall, consisting of an arced shield blazoned as follows:  Gules, a chief crested Sable, a bulldog's head in profile, couped Argent, eyes and nose of the first and colored of the like, with seven spikes, Or.  Attached above the shield, a Red scroll inscribed "WHITE HALL" in Gold letters.  

Symbolism
Red, black and white are the school colors.  The bulldog is the school's mascot.  The crested line symbolizes the Arkansas River which the city overlooks.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 5 December 1991.
