Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a yellow rectangle with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border 2 13/16 inches (7.14 cm) in  width and 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) height overall, arched at top and bottom a black silhouetted head of Abraham Lincoln between the inscription "LINCOLN" above and "HIGH SCHOOL" below in black letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.

Symbolism
Black and yellow are the school colors.  The school is named in honor of Abraham Lincoln and the nickname is "Abes".

Description/Blazon
A gold colored metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a black shield bearing a profiled head of Abe Lincoln attached below the shield a black scroll doubled gold inscribed "LINCOLN" in gold letters.

Symbolism
Black and yellow are the school colors.  The school is named in honor of Abraham Lincoln.

 The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 13 February 1985.
