Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a shield shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border, consisting of a shield blazoned: Or, within a bordure and on a pall Sable a helm affront, bordured of the last, Argent, shaded Silver Gray with a cross of the first at eye and nose, with eye slits and details of the second.  Attached above the shield a Yellow arched scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border and inscribed "KNIGHTDALE" in Black letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 3 1/8 inches (7.94 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Black and Gold are the school colors. The school symbol is the Knight signifying pledged allegiance security and honor. Black represents humility and might. Gold signifies vigor and magnanimity.

Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height blazoned:  Sable, a standing knight hands resting on the pommel of a sword Or, detailed of the first.  Attached at the sides and encircling the base is a Black triparted scroll with the motto "RESPECT DUTY HONOR" in base metal letters and arched at the top of the shield is a Black scroll with the designation "KNIGHTDALE H. S." in base metal letters.
