Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a yellow vertical rectangle 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border the red head of a cobra detailed white.  Attached above the rectangle a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border inscribed "HUDSON" in red letters.  Attached below the rectangle a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border inscribed "HIGH SCHOOL" in red letters.

Symbolism
Red, white and yellow are the school colors.  The cobra is the school's mascot.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 28 August 1995.  (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-410)




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a silver disc bearing a stylized cobra head in red atop a silver base inscribed "COBRAS" in black letters. 

Symbolism
Red and white (represented by silver) are two of the school colors.  The cobra is the school's mascot.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 28 April 1995.
