Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a white vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, a white erased Panthers head, detailed blue, issuant from a blue laurel wreath.  Attached above the rectangle, a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border inscribed "PANTHER" in blue letters.  Attached below the rectangle, a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border inscribed "BATTALION" in blue letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Royal blue and Silver are the school colors. Royal blue signifies the loyalty that exists among the cadets and white represents the honor of serving. The Panther is North Crowley High School's mascot and denotes the fighting spirit of the Panther Battalion. The laurel wreath signifies achievements in all endeavors.

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel shield shaped device is 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Azure, a saltire Argent (Silver Gray), charged at center on a disc a mullet, in chief a lamp of knowledge, in base the masks of tragedy and comedy, and in fess a winged foot in dexter and a judge's gavel in sinister, all of the second. Attached below the shield, a Silver scroll inscribed "NORTH CROWLEY" in Blue letters.

Symbolism
Royal blue and silver are the school colors. The lamp of knowledge represents brilliance in academics; the winged foot of Hermes expresses swiftness and athletics; the masks suggest the studies of art and music; the judge's gavel denotes the law. The lone star denotes the school's location in Texas.
