Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a gold vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom and edged with an 1/8 inch (.32 cm) purple border a gold pirate face affront detailed purple, wearing a purple hat detailed gold and holding in his mouth a purple dagger highlighted gold.  Attached above the rectangle, a gold scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) purple border inscribed "CORINTH" in purple letters.  Attached below the rectangle, a gold scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) purple border inscribed "HOLDERS" in purple letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Purple and old gold are the school colors. Purple symbolizes the loyalty the cadets have for their battalion. The pirate is the school's mascot and is regarded being as vigilant, swift, and untouchable. The dagger in his mouth represents the determination of the Pirate Battalion.

Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned; Purpure four chevronels Or. Attached above the shield is a morphing of the letters "C" and "H" with a pirate's sword, all in Purple. Attached below the shield, a Purple scroll inscribed "IN POTESTATE DUCTO" in Gold letters.

Symbolism
Purple and old gold are the schools colors. Old gold symbolizes the goodwill that exists amongst the battalion. The pirate is the school's mascot and is thought of as vigilant, swift, and untouchable. The four chevronels alludes to the four grade levels at Corinth Holder and the "C H" lettered logo is a symbol used by the Pirate Battalion.  The school's motto "IN POTESTATE DUCTO translates to the "Power to Choose" in English.
