Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
A gold color rectangular device with arced top and bottom, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, the overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inch (8.89 cm) in height and 2 9/16 inches (6.51 cm) in width on which is the head and neck of a gold cougar delineated blue between two arced inscriptions "SURRY COUNTY" above and "HIGH SCHOOL" below in blue letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 14 December 1981.
