An oval shaped embroidered item 3 3/4 inches (9.53 cm) in diameter overall, consisting of an inner blue oval edged with a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) yellow border, a white Eagle's head with blue and black details facing forwarded, brows silver gray, eyes, beak yellow and pupils black all encircled by a blue designation band edged with a 1/8 inch yellow border inscribed "GRAVES COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL" at top and "EAGLES" at bottom all in yellow letters separated by a yellow star on each side.
Blue and silver are the school colors. Blue is symbolic of the courage of cadets' as leaders in the school and the community. Silver signifies the determination to succeed in all their endeavors. The Eagle is the school's mascot which reflects the pride, honor and loyalty of the cadets' military training.
