A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Tenne, a torch flamant Argent, between a winged shoe and a lyre of the second; a chief embattled Azure. Attached around the bottom and sides of the shield, a blue triparted scroll inscribed "YELLOW JACKET PRIDE"` in Silver letters.
Blue and orange are the school colors. Blue signifies the loyalty that the cadets show for their school and country. Orange symbolizes the ambition, endurance and strength of the cadets. The torch symbolizes knowledge, while the winged shoe represents athletics and the lyre refers to music and art. The embattlement pertains to strength and support. The school's motto is "YELLOW JACKET PRIDE."
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 24 January 2013.
