On a shield shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Blue border, consisting of a shield blazoned: Gules, in base an open book Proper, bound Azure, superimposed by a silhouette of Paul Revere on horseback holding a lantern in his right hand of the second, all within in chief seven mullets Argent. Attached above the shield, a White scroll inscribed "RHS PATRIOTS" in Ultramarine Blue letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 7/8 inches (7.30 cm) in width.
Blue and white are the school colors. Blue represents devotion to one's studies and white denotes the honor of being a cadet in the Patriot Battalion. Paul Revere is the school's namesake. The open book represents the school's motto, "knowledge is the basis of creativity". The seven stars reflect the Army Core Values.
