Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
 On a shield shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Silver Gray border blazoned as follows: Per pale, Azure and Tenn, a stylized titan's helmet Silver Gray detailed and plumed Sable.  Attached above the shield an Orange scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Silver Gray border inscribed "UHS TITANS" in White letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35cm) in width.

Symbolism
Orange, silver, and white are the school colors. Orange is symbolic of school pride and red denotes the strength of the Titan Battalion. The Titan is the school's mascot and reflects the strength and spirit of the cadet's military training.

Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
 A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in diameter consisting of a compass rose, bearing on the center a gold brown titan's helmet.  Attached to the compass, from the northwestern point to the northeastern point, an orange tripartite scroll inscribed "FOLLOW THE CREED" in silver letters.

Symbolism
 Orange, silver, and white are the school colors.  The Titan is the school's mascot and reflects the strength and spirit of the cadets.  The compass is taken from the school's coat of arms and symbolizes the partnership of academic instruction provided by the school and the pursuit of knowledge by the cadets. The scroll drapes over the compass in the shape of the letter "U", representing University High School.
