Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
A golden orange disc edged with a yellow band; the lower half surmounted by a light green land mass detailed green and charged with a green bucking mule. Issuing from the land mass and arcing above the disc, a green scroll inscribed "LEILEHUA HIGH SCHOOL" in yellow letters. The entire device edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) green border. The overall dimensions are 2 7/8 inches (7.30 cm) in height and 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in width.
Green and gold (yellow) are the school colors. The mule is the school's mascot. The sun and land mass suggest the Island of Oahu and reflect the location of the school. The sun also represents achievement and academic excellence.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized 11 August 1950. It was cancelled due to an updated description and symbolism of the new design authorized on 22 October 1991. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-232)
Shoulder Loop Insignia
A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a light green semi-circle with a V- shaped base, bearing a gold sun rayed throughout surmounted by a green mule's head affront issuing from base between two gold and green pineapples, also issuing from base. Attached below the device a gold arcing scroll inscribed "MULES" in green letters.

The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 22 October 1991.
