On a black vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border, displaying a yellow ram's head cropped facing forward. Attached above the rectangle, a black scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border inscribed "RAM" in yellow letters. Attached below the rectangle, a black scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border inscribed "BATTALION" in yellow letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width.
Black and gold are the school colors. Black represents determination, a trait the cadets' show when taking on any obstacle or challenge that comes their way. Gold signifies honor, a virtue the cadets highly prize and fiercely maintain to uphold. The ram is the school's mascot which conveys power, drive, energy, protection, and fearlessness. The students identify with their mascot and the ram culture of resilience, self-sufficiency, and simple lifestyle.
