On a light blue vertical shaped rectangular embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) dark blue border with each corner at a 45 degree angle, issuing from the left middle and lower section of the rectangle, four (4) dark blue staggered soaring silhouettes of jets, emitting yellow and red streaks. Attached above the rectangle, a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) dark blue border inscribed "JAMES CLEMENS" in dark blue letters. Attached below the rectangle, a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) dark blue border inscribed "HIGH SCHOOL" in dark blue letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) in width.
Columbia blue, navy blue, and white are the school colors, representing dependability and allegiance (respectively). The four (4) stylized jet silhouettes denote to the high school's mascot. The jets soaring symbolize the student body's endeavor to personal development, using the CASTLE approach - courage, authenticity, service, truthfulness, love, and effectiveness, to form the foundation of success. The four jets allude to James Madison, the fourth U.S. president, named for Madison, Alabama, the location of James Clemens High School.
