Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description
A green horizontal oval shaped embroidered item displaying a blue gnarling bear, garnished green, with white teeth, eyes and claws, black pupils, all outlined and detailed in black, facing the viewer and throughout the oval, grasping seven (7) staggered pine trees, divided vertically black and blue. The bears ear and paws resting on a white oval designation band edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border inscribed FOREST PARK at top and  HIGH SCHOOL at bottom all in blue letters. The overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height and 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Blue and Kelly green are the school colors.  Blue is symbolic of the courage of cadets as leaders in the school and the community while green signifies the determination to succeed in all endeavors.  The Bear is the schools mascot which reflects the pride, honor and loyalty of the cadets military training.  The stand of trees recalls the name of the school.

Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description
On a silver color metal and enameled device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm) in height overall consisting of four (4) vertically divided pine trees, green and blue, two and two, issuing from below a black tree trunk in the center, all behind a vertically divided Bear, green and blue, its face detailed silver gray, facing the viewer, with white claws extended parted palewise, all above a blue scroll inscribed BRUINS in silver letters.
