Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a black vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border, issuing from left center a yellow double edged Axe head detail black, blade throughout, to the right of the Axe three gold stars in wedge formation one and two. Attached above the rectangle a gold scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border inscribed BOGALUSA in black letters. Attached below the rectangle a gold scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border inscribed LUMBERJACKS in black letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width.
Black and old gold are the school colors. Black signifies dignity and determination to succeed in all endeavors. Old Gold represents nobleness and wisdom. The Lumberjacks Axe signifies the historical Boga Lusa Creek area distinct to lumber production within the state. The stars symbolize the first graduating class in 1912 consisting of three students. The Lumberjack is the schools mascot and reflects the pride, honor and loyalty of the cadets military training.

Shoulder Loop Insignia
On a Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Sable a Lumberjack couped at shoulders facing at a 3/4 position holding over his shoulder a double edged Axe all Or (Gold Brown). Attached above the shield two Gold Axes blade upward and inward upper vertical on each sides of the Black scroll inscribed LUMBERJACKS and attached below the shield a Black scroll inscribed BOGALUSA all in Gold letters.
