Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On an orange disc with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border 3 inches ( 7.62 cm) in diameter overall, a gray charging elephant affront detailed black with an orange mouth, between the inscription CAL. STATE U. above and FULLERTON below in blue letters 5/16 (.79 cm) in height.
Orange and blue are the school colors and the elephant represents the schools mascot, a Titan.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 25 August 1986.
Shoulder Loop Insignia
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inch (2.86 cm) in height overall all consisting of a shield quartered orange and light blue bearing a silver disc charged with a stylized light blue letter F. attached below the shield a silver scroll inscribed FORTI NIHIL DIFFICILE in light blue letters.
The school colors are blue and orange and the blue F represents the school name- Fullerton. The motto FORTI NIHIL DIFFICILE is Latin meaning TO THE BRAVE NOTHING IS DIFFICULT.
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 25 August 1986.
