Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description
On a vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom, divided diagonally from upper right to lower left blue and white and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, displaying rearing up and in profile a white horse.  Attached above the rectangle, a white scroll inscribed CEDAR CLIFF in blue and attached below a white scroll inscribed COLTS in blue; all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in length and 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Navy blue and white are the school colors.  Navy blue (blue) symbolizes loyalty, a virtue the cadets reflect in their faithfulness to each other and their country.  White conveys maturity, an attribute the cadets show in their respectful manners and decisions.  The colt (the schools mascot) signifies power, swiftness and triumph over evil.

Description
A Silver colored metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height overall, consisting of a shield blazoned:  Per bend Argent and Azure, a horse forcen of the first.  Attached below the device a White scroll inscribed INDUSTRIA AD VICTORIAM in Silver letters. 

Symbolism
Navy blue and white are the school colors.  Navy blue (blue) symbolizes loyalty, a virtue the cadets reflect in their faithfulness to each other and their country.  White (silver) conveys maturity, an attribute the cadets show in their respectful manners and decisions.  The colt (the schools mascot) signifies power, swiftness and triumph over evil.  The Latin motto of the battalion is INDUSTRIA AD VICTORIAM translates to Work Hard Be Victorious in English.

The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 31 December 2013.
