Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description
On a rectangular shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border, displaying a Silver Gray wolverines head shaded green and black, facing sinister erased at the neck, highlighted green, teeth and eye white, pupil black. Attached above the rectangle, a green scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border inscribed WOODLAND in silver gray letters.  Attached below the rectangle, a green scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border inscribed WOLVERINES in silver gray letters.  The overall dimensions are 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) in width and 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height.

Symbolism
Hunter green and silver are the school colors.   The Wolverine is the schools mascot and reflects the pride, honor and loyalty of the cadets military training.  Green is symbolic of the life and prosperity of cadets as leaders in the school and the community while silver signifies determination to succeed in all their endeavors.

Description
On a Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm) in height overall consisting of a Wolverines head affront nose, eyes and ears black, teeth white, tongue red, cheeks and jaw green, fur buff, between two palmetto trees green, and below eight green  scratch lines crossed in saltire, terminating to two silhouetted wolverine paws, between two mullets white, and in base a crescent moon white, conjoined to a green scroll and inscribed WOLVERINES in silver letters.
    

Symbolism
Hunter green and silver are the school colors. The Wolverine is the schools mascot and reflects the pride honor and loyalty of the cadets military training.   The green Palmetto trees are symbolic of the life and prosperity of cadets as leaders in the school and the community while the white stars and crescent moon signifies truth and determination to succeed in all their endeavors. The black paws represent determination and the green scratch marks strength.
