On a Silver color metal and enameled device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm) in width overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Gules, between a pallet bearing a chain link Argent (Silver Gray) in dexter, a drama mask superimposed at base of a lyre in sinister a laurel branch surmounted by a winged foot and in base a lamp enflamed, all of the third. The shield environed with a Black scroll, surmounting the scroll to the left on the shield, a Red panther garnished Black with White eyes stalking towards the viewer between the inscription PANTHERS at top and PETAL HIGH SCHOOL at bottom all in Silvers letters.
Red is symbolic of the patriotism and courage of cadets as leaders in the school and the community while White signifies truth and to succeed in all endeavors. Black represents determination and might. The Black chevron symbolizes precision in execution of duties, the lyre and drama mask represent the arts. The winged foot over the laurel branch signifies athletics. The lamp is indicative of pursuit of knowledge. The Panther is the schools mascot and reflects the pride, honor and loyalty of the cadets military training.
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 16 January 2014.
