On a white shield edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) orange border, 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in width overall, eight orange spears radiating from a horizontal row of seven orange discs, surmounted by a blue Trojan warrior figure detailed orange grasping in his right hand an orange sword and holding in his left hand an orange shield edged blue; all between the inscription HIALEAH-MIAMI LAKES arcing above and TROJANS arcing below in blue letters.
Blue, orange and white (silver) are the school colors. The wavy partition line reflects the schools proximity to the ocean. The lyre, winged foot and scroll symbolize the cadets well rounded curriculum. The grasping hands signify the cadets teamwork and camaraderie in establishing a foundation in school, community and country.
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 31 May 1996.
