Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a blue disc 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter overall, a blue buccaneers head full front detailed golden yellow, garbed in a golden yellow hat with the pirates symbol outlined blue, grasping in his teeth a golden yellow dagger.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized 12 September 1961. It was revised to change the description on 21 May 1969, currently amended to include an updated manufactured drawing on 20 April 2014. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-222)
Shoulder Loop Insignia
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/32 inches (2.62 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Per pale Or and Azure, the seal of the University recessed with design elements and letters in relief all in Gold.
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 21 May 1969.
