Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description
A white diamond shape with equal sides edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) army green  border, surmounted by inner white diamond shape with equal sides edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) army green border, overall a white rattle snake head facing viewer detailed and fimbriated army green.  Attached above the diamond shape, a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) army green border inscribed REAGAN in black.  The overall dimensions are 3 5/8 inches (9.21 cm) in height and 3 inches (7.62 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Black, midnight green, and silver are the school colors.  Black symbolizes determination, a quality the cadets have in overcoming any obstacles.  Green (midnight green) alludes to adaptability, a trait the cadets have in handling any situation that comes their way.  Silver (white) represents maturity, an attribute the cadets reflect in their goals and accomplishments.  The rattle snake is the schools mascot, which signifies wisdom, transformation and primal energy.

Description
A gold colored metal and  enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height overall, consisting of a shield blazoned:  Per pale Sable and Argent (Silver), a pale Vert (Midnight Green), on a chief Vert, a plate charged with a compass Or, detailed Argent.  Attached below the shield a Gold scroll inscribed REAGAN in Black letters. 

Symbolism
The bottom of the shield is divided into thirds to illustrate Reagans school colors:  black, midnight green and silver.  Black symbolizes determination, a quality the cadets have in overcoming any obstacles.  Green alludes to adaptability, a trait the cadets have in handling any situation that comes their way.  Silver (white) represents maturity, an attribute the cadets reflect in their goals and accomplishments.  The upper portion represents the school district.  The compass pointing to the north east alludes to the North East Independent School District.
