Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description
On a White Shield-shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Green border blazoned as follows: Argent, a mullet of twelve points Argent (Silver Gray) throughout surmounted by a lion rampant holding a sword overhead Vert, armed a langued Sable, his tongue and claws black. Attached below the shield, a White scroll inscribed LIVINGSTON HIGH SCHOOL in Black letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) height and 3 3/16 inches (8.10 cm) width.  

Symbolism
Green and white are the school colors.  Green is symbolic of the life and prosperity of cadets as leaders in the school and the community while white signifies determination to succeed in all their endeavors. The schools mascot is the Lion and describes nobility, strength, and courage. The sword represents the fighting spirit of the school and its teams, demonstrating an aggressive nature to overcome all obstacles. The starburst signifies enlightenment through knowledge.

Description
On Silver metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  Vert, a lion rampant holding a sword Or, in dexter chief a mullet of twelve points Argent (Silver Gray).  Attached below the shield, a Green scroll inscribed FELIS MAGNUS in Silver letters.

Symbolism
The schools mascot is the Lion and describes nobility, strength, and courage. The mascot is colored gold to symbolize excellence in academics. The sword represents the fighting spirit of the school and its teams, demonstrating an aggressive nature to overcome all obstacles. The starburst signifies enlightenment through knowledge.  The Latin motto is FELIS MAGNUS which translates to BIG CATS in English.
