Shoulder Loop Insignia

Description
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a blue shield bearing a silver stylized rotunda consisting of a dome, cornice and four columns issuing from base.  Attached above the shield a blue scroll inscribed PER ANGUSTA and attached below the shield a blue scroll inscribed AD AUGUSTA in silver letters.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized19 December 1988.
