A gold color metal enamel device 1 1/8 inches (3.18 cm) in width consisting of a green shield bearing an open book in perspective between two upright closed books all green detailed gold, the two closed books connected by a narrow gold horizontal bar, issuing from the top of the shield in the vertical center a cloud emitting a semi-circular pattern of rays below a hand, all gold. Attached below the shield, a three segmented green scroll inscribed E TENEBRIS on the dexter segment, IN on the center segment, and LUCEM VOCO on the sinister segment, all in base metal letters.
Green and gold (yellow) are the school colors. The books, bar, cloud, hand, rays and motto are from the seal of the College.
The shoulder loop insignia was originally authorized 12 February 1981. It was amended to change the name of the school and update the description and symbolism of the new design on 4 June 2003.
