Description
An inner brown disc bearing a white open book with a red heart centered thereon, the book below a yellow sun emitting eight yellow rays couped, around the brown disc a white band edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border, the band inscribed LEHIGH at the top and UNIVERSITY in base in blue letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height, the overall diameter of the insignia 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm)

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 26 March 1970.

Description
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a silver color inner oval, pointed at top and bottom, on which is a silver color open book raised and charged with a red enamel heart.  Above the book a silver color sun in splendor, raised, and below the book, the inscription founded by, Asa Packer 1865 in raised letters on three lines.  Around the oval a brown enamel band inscribed HOMO MINISTER ET INTERPRES NATURAE at the top and LEHIGH UNIVERSITY on the bottom with a dot between the two inscriptions, all in silver color metal.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 7 August 1967.
